Sue you were a wonderful person with understanding compassion with a love of gardening, farm animals and most of all your family
You will be sadly missed as you were the backbone of the Matthews farm and have done proud to keep it alive and viable much the same as your predecessors had done
you can now Rest In Peace with the many local people of this district that have forged the district into what it is today
Its a woman like you that set a shining example for the community to look up to
Im sure your family and neighbours and friends will be grieving at this time but in the future to come will hold you in High esteem
Suzanne Coulter you came onboard the Matthews team with Alan, had a wonderful family with grand kids all of which you stood behind and supported to the end
if I’m luck then I will definitely see you in Heaven
RIP
Ray Matthews

A lovely lady and a dear friend. Always the same with a quiet smile and a kind word. I met her when I went to High school and we have remained in touch and friends for 60 years. Our thoughts are with Alan and all the family.
She went the way she wanted with so much dignity.
Remembered with fondness. Jeanette and Norm

I will miss seeing Sue at the family farm and at Sandy.
Taken from us much sooner than any of us would want.
RIP

What a lovely ceremony – Kerry, you spoke beautifully about your Mum. You managed to encapsulate her perfectly. Well, done Julia and Jessica on the words that you wrote about your beloved Nanna. It helped describe how dedicated she was to her family.
Uncle Al, Kerry, Glen, Lynda – Tammy, Dean, Julia, Jessica, Keiren, and Keegan I am sorry for your loss.
And most importantly Aunty Sue – I remember you describing the helicopter ride that you went on in the outback and how you were part terrified part exhilarated – I remember that story now as I remember you on all the afternoons, we spent at The Coulte Farm devouring those delicious afternoon tea’s that Nanna (Nita) put on whenever we visited.
Rest in Peace
Your niece Maree

Sue was like the warmth of the autumn sun, shining in her gentle, kind way. A wonderful tribute from Kerry and Sue’s beloved grandchildren.
Family, farming and friends. Three words that sum up a life of humility and devotion to those three pursuits. Goodbye Aunty Sue. Rest now your brave fight is over. So glad I took the time to sit down with you while you were in Dandenong Hospital for one last chat. The sight of my dad touching your amazing coffin made me cry as I watched the funeral replay. So sorry I couldn’t be there.
Love Narelle, Mark, Ella and William.
