Sue – Crazy Lady,
OMG , one of the most beautiful friends I have – inside and out. So sad you did not recognise your own amazing talents. You presented to me for a position on the Desalination Project in Wonthaggi. You wanted to join our property maintenance team to step away from hairdressing. Really? Give me a chance, I won’t let you down, you said. You were right, you were my superstar. Our working relationship developed into a special friendship. We did road trips together, spent a few Christmas’ together. You cut my hair at midnight after too many beers – poor lighting so you wore a miners light on your head. Next day, hair was as good as any hairdresser had done in the past.
You were in my phone as Crazy Lady –
crazy special, crazy funny, crazy crazy. I told you this many times and you would give me your loud Sue laugh. I wish I could hear it one more time.
I spoke to you the day before your passing and you told me you were sad, you were confused, you were concerned. I listened, and then I gave you my honest advice. You told me to Fuck off – We both laughter.
Susie – Crazy Lady, I wish I could cook another sea sponge, receive a photo of my handbag that you hated and replaced it with another and then took my old bag on every trip you did and sent me a video. We can’t change yesterday but I will always remember OUR yesterdays.
Love u my Crazy Lady. RIP

Thinking of you all today, I am sorry I could not get down there with Lucas. Goodness me we had so many fun times, I can still hear her laugh and that cheeky smile (the girls favorite is skinny dipping with Sue, on countless occasions in the pool 🤣). The unconditional love she gave Lucas, myself and our girls was immeasurable. Always the life of the party, New Years at Cleveland with our cricket bat microphones and crazy glow stick creations makes me smile and laugh everytime I think of it. We loved her dearly and will miss her beyond words, but we will hold onto all the memories and happiness she brought to each of us.
