Dear Eileen and all of the Notman family, my deepest condolences on your loss. I’m so sorry that I wasn’t able to attend today’s funeral service.
I watched online and it was a great tribute to Uncle Jack – without doubt one of the best human beings I’ve had the privilege of knowing.
Pete did a brilliant job with the eulogy, and the photo slide show was perfect.
Lots of love, Scott

Our condolences to all the Notman family. Sorry we can’t be there to share in the celebration of his life. We have so many memories of Jack.
Life long dairy farmer of Jindivick.
Icon of Jindivick.
Band member – the drummer that winked at the patrons as they go arond the dance floor and matchmaking.
Rumours of him sleeping as he rode his bike home after playing at a dance.
Sportsman – always the best sportsmanship and integrity.
Badminton player – an extremely talented and crafty player to play against.
Prankster – part of a prankster team of Jindivick along with brother George and other Jindivick stalwarts, short sheeting beds to intricate robbery fabrications.
Always pleased to see you.
Most of all, the family man, Jack and Eilee, the team, along with their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren of whom he was so extremely proud.
Jack’s contribution to society has been enormous.
A life well spent.
Thank you

Hi Neville and Ruth, these comments couldn’t be truer! They are certainly appreciated by the family! I had a chance to talk to Mr Pretty regarding the hall break ins and it’s hard to believe we had the sort of fun in those days, of people fabricating the robberies and us kids trying to stake out and protect the community! Jack, George certainly had great fun! I still remember well our first interstate trip to where you live today! A life very well lived! Thanks again
