See you on the other side my friend.
Special times at the Harcourt Church of Christ and for the kids at the youth group Roy set up for them on a Friday night. Was great for us keeping in touch with Roy after the church closed. Loretta and Raymond Rice and Katrina who especially enjoyed the youth group and still remembers him and the good times they all had. Rest in peace Roy.

Till we meet again Roy. You will be missed, but in the meantime remain with favour in my memories. Always generous and eager to bless others. Thank-you for being a model of Christ’s love to me and others. God Bless Gerard
My deepest sympathy to Barbara, Coby and Murray and families. Roy worked with us at Beaconsfield Primary School for the best part of 10 years as an RE teacher and running lunchtime craft clubs with Barbara in the library. He was so generous with his time and loved the children with all of his heart and soul. Roy was gentle and kind, making time for every child who needed his care and attention – he will be remembered fondly.
My sincere condolences to all of Roy’s family, and especially to his wife. I am so thankful for his ministry to the residents at TLC Homewood RAC, where my father resides. He not only encouraged and blessed so many by the services he and his team presented there, my family were blessed by Roy’s pastoral care, the prayers that he offered for each time my father’s health deteriorated, and he was hospitalised. He was a huge blessing to my Dad, George, and to our wider family. He has been and will be sadly missed by many. Love and prayers to you all.
Joined in for the service. Farewell old friend.
Thankyou and RIP Roy!
Roy, I remember meeting you for the first time when you did some printing for my dad Eddie James. We saw you often as I grew up and you really became part of our family. I had so much fun working with you when you played Santa and I was Santa’s helper. Such beautiful memories. You were such a wonderful man with a heart of gold. We will miss you. Rest In Peace in the arms of Jesus. Sending love and prayers to Roy’s family at this time of sadness.
Simone Pereira and family
I knew Roy in my mid twenties as a young Christian. He had a huge impact on my life as a man of great integrity and faith. He loved Jesus and he loved people with all his heart. When I think about what it means to ‘run the race’ I think of Roy. I thank God that I knew him, I thank God that I had an opportunity to catch up with him again in recent years, and I thank God for the beautiful legacy he leaves for all who knew him.
John 11:25 “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die.”
Roy is more alive now than he ever was! Amen
Beautiful farewell service. We will meet again one day on the other side.
A life well lived , will be sadly missed
