Dear Aunt Mimi. I will always remember you as being cheeky, smart and a very loving and caring person. Your smile and laughter lit up rooms! I have fond memories (1970’s) of you letting me play with Joelle and Annicks toys when my family would visit after church on Sundays. I taught myself how to ride a bike on one of the girl’s bikes thanks to you! I cannot recall where they were at the time… I also fondly remember all the times you and my mum Monique were together and you would both laugh and laugh and laugh… You two were like twins when together. Mimi, I imagine you are now in the arms of your loving husband Arnold, looking down on your family and keeping an eye on them all. Rest in peace my beautiful, funny, loving Aunty. xoxox Michelle

Dearest Joelle and Annick, such a beautiful tribute to your amazing mum. As a teenager, spending so many after school hours in your home, I remember with fondness the gentleness and welcoming nature of your mum. She was truly the most loving and giving person you would meet. She will remain in your heart and her presence will be with you everyday in everything you do. You gave her the ultimate gift of love by caring for her so deeply in these final years. Her hands will hold your broken hearts. Much love to you and your families. With love from a friend who adored you and your mum xx
