Deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Dr Jim D’Orsa. in gratitude for his extraordinary commitment along with Therese to the education and formation of countless educators. A man of great influence, charity and challenge. May he rest in eternal love with Therese and the Communion of Saints.

Sadly, I never met Jim but I believe we were related. I saw his funeral notice in the paper and linked in online. The service was beautiful and through the wonderful stories I feel I got to know Jim a little. My brother Anthony established a vineyard near Heathcote in the 1990’s. It is now a five star boutique winery called Sanguine Estate and their premium Shiraz is named D’ORSA after our (and Jim’s) great-grandfather Pietro D’Orsa. It would seem that wine making is in the blood!
Love and best wishes to you all. Mary (D’Orsa Hunter) Stapleton.
