I have so many fond childhood memories from our summer holidays in Inverloch. I loved visiting and playing cricket on your beautifully curated pitch. I still remember laughing as Rocky (if I’ve got that right!) attacked cars going down the street. And I’ll never forget you taking me to my first test at the G.
What a wonderful innings you’ve had, and what a great family you’ve left behind. Rest peacefully, Daryl. ❤️

I will always remember Daryl with such fondness. He was one of a kind. A warm, funny, generous spirit and he had such a love of life. I have beautiful memories of billiards and song, watching cricket matches swallowed up in oversized couches, so much laughter and love. All of my sincerest condolences. Love to Pat, Jac, Kate and Adam. He will always be in our hearts.

It was a fabulous tribute to him.
His kind, warm & non-judgmental ways will be so sadly missed.

My heartfelt condolences to you all. I was deeply moved by the beautiful tribute.
I was fortunate to experience a couple of those Sunday night dinners with Daryl and family. The warmth, humour, and red wine will always be among my fondest memories.
Rest in peace, Daryl.

Dear Pat,
Such a lovely service and tributes from your family to honour Daryl’s amazing life.
Thanks to live streaming I felt I was actually in attendance.
A great man in every way, and a Demons supporter as a bonus!
Take care of yourself & take comfort in reflecting on the many happy memories Daryl has left for you all.
